Here is a guide to what you can expect from Calverton & District Funeral Service Limited when arranging a traditional or bespoke funeral service.

 

• A professional, personal, and caring service, from your initial contact with us, through to the day of the funeral.

• We ensure that our service does not end with the funeral ceremony.

• Completion of the funeral arrangement and all necessary paperwork in our private premises or at your home.

• Date and time of the funeral ceremony to be arranged at a mutual time.

• A wide choice of coffins for you to choose from.

• Provision of our Mercedes hearse for the conveyance of the deceased from a place of your choosing to the Church, Crematorium or Cemetery.

• Provisions can also be made for a horse-drawn or motorcycle hearse.

• Provision of our Mercedes funeral limousines (optional) to provide transport to and from the funeral service.

• Simon or Craig will be present to direct the funeral with 4 bearers to carry the coffin.

• Collection of the deceased from the place of death into our care at Calverton & District Funeral Service.

• Hygienic treatment and dressing of the deceased in their own clothing or a funeral robe.

• Visiting your loved one can be arranged in our private chapel of rest at a time to suit the family.

• Liaising with you to ensure all requests for music and visual tributes are fulfilled.

• Assisting with the ordering of floral tributes.

• If donations in loving memory are requested a collection box will be provided.

• Providing assistance with Orders of Service.

• Collection of cremated remains and assisting the family with arrangements for the ashes.
